Why This Show Matters
Mexico has gone years without a major auto show. According to the organizers, these exhibitions faded out of the country even before the pandemic. Since then, brands have launched new models online or at private events.
That is the gap the México Motor Show wants to fill. The goal is simple: let people see, compare and sit in cars they usually only watch on a screen. The team behind it spent several years preparing the project.
Querétaro was a deliberate choice. Between January and July 2026, the state ranked eighth nationally in hybrid and electric vehicle sales, with 3,269 units. In addition, its automotive sector supports more than 70,000 jobs.
The organizers plan to hold the show every year. Future editions could move to Mexico City, Puebla, Guadalajara or Monterrey, or stay in Querétaro for a few more years.

What to See at the México Motor Show
- Reveals: Porsche will unveil a couple of models, and Chevrolet will hold its own presentation. Neither brand has said which ones yet.
- Private aircraft: Cirrus will bring its planes, including the Vision Jet, a single-engine personal jet.
- Exotics and classics: two exhibitions run independently of the brands, featuring luxury, performance and collector cars.
- Burn yard: the outdoor plaza will host burnouts, slides and drifting inside a marked circle.
- Content creators: about 40 will attend, including Juca, Martín Vaca of Mexicánicos, Kenji Nakamura, Vlad Russo, ExoticsCUU and Fercho Urquiza.
The mix is what sets this show apart. Mexico has motorcycle events without cars and car events without motorcycles. Here, both share the floor with semi trucks and aviation.
Which Ticket Makes Sense
If you plan to go for one day, general admission at $555 covers it. However, if you want to come back on Sunday, the $800 pass is the better deal. Two single tickets would cost $1,110, so the second day costs only $245 more.
Buy online at eticket.mx to skip the box office line. Also note that Friday, November 13, is reserved for media and is closed to the public.
Getting There from Zibatá
From Zibatá, the drive to the Centro de Congresos takes about 30 to 40 minutes, depending on traffic. As a result, leaving early is a good idea, especially on Saturday. On Sunday, doors open at 8:55 a.m.; check the official Instagram for any schedule changes before you head out.
Make a Weekend of It
The show overlaps with the Feria de Querétaro 2026, which runs November 12 to 30 at the EcoCentro Expositor. On Saturday the 14th, Alfredo Olivas plays the Palenque. Then on Sunday the 15th, Emmanuel and Mijares take the Palenque stage, while Remmy Valenzuela plays the Teatro del Pueblo.
That means you can spend the morning with the cars and end the day with live music.
