ZibaHome – A pleasure to work with
5.0

We came from the USA to find a home. The staff is friendly and made the process very easy. Our Realtor, Massiel, showed us a few properties. I did not expect to like them all as much as I did, but we settled on a lovely 3-level home with a rooftop garden. Since it was new construction, we started the process of getting the contract signed, submitting the down payment, and preparing ourselves for the lending process as the home reached completion. I made my selection in early March 2025. We started moving forward shortly thereafter, we concluded the downpayment process in July 2025, and construction was slated for completion by late October 2025. We are now in mid-November, construction is complete, and we are knee deep in the lending process.

The food and service were good!
3.0

I ordered wings and French fries, while my daughter got a burger. Everything was pretty good, but the wings were just a bit dry. Service was friendly, and the restaurant was clean. Pricing was fair. This is a fun place to meet friends for a drink or hang out with family on a Friday night.

Excellent! Highly Recommended
5.0

I needed a ride to a couple of super important appointments in Querétaro, but did not trust myself to get there on time since I don't know the roads and traffic patterns well. My driver from Travel Safe picked me up on time, got me to my first appointment early, and got me to my next appointment quickly after. My driver was courteous enough to wait for me, and when I was done, they took me back to Zibatá. The car was nice and clean, very comfortable, and had a smooth ride. I am planning a move to Zibatá soon, and have saved their information for future reference. I also recommended a couple of others who will be in the area soon. I'm planning a move to the area in the near future, and see myself using their services often for myself and members of my family. Especially for things like Mall runs and nights out. Highly recommended.

One of the best spots in Zibatá!
5.0

Entrecot came highly recommended by a buddy of mine who lives in town. When I visited Zibatá with my daughter, I had the opportunity to try it for breakfast/brunch. The service is excellent, and the food is really, really good and flavorful. However, on that trip, I couldn't fully enjoy the experience. 3 months later, I visited again and made sure to go for dinner. Wow! The ambiance is warm and relaxing. The sauces that came with the meal were all super flavorful and had some real heat. The best, in my opinion, was the orange sauce. Between the heat and garlic flavor, it is something that you will want more and more of. So yummy!  I ordered the picanha (medium) with papas. Super, super good! I finished and wanted more! I highly recommend this place, and while a little pricey, it is worth it in my opinion. Coming from the U.S., this place blows 80% of the steakhouses out of the water! EASILY!!! Go! Now!

Walmart Express Zibatá – A familiar store to an American visitor
5.0

In the US, Walmart is everywhere. While visiting Zibatá for the first time in March 2025, I stopped into Walmart Express Zibatá with my sisters to get food for the Airbnb. It was interesting to see that it was a small neighborhood-style grocery store, whereas all US Walmarts are massive buildings. Even those with the grocery store also have the other departments. It was also super interesting to see a bakery with fresh bread—something you will never see in the US. There are a lot of familiar American brands, but also other options suited to the Mexican market. The store was clean and well-organized.  Compared to the US, prices were similar, some higher, some lower, but I think that is because the displayed price in Mexico has sales tax included already. In my subsequent trips to Mexico since March, I have made the local Walmart Express my first stop to grab necessities when I arrive in town. The mountain view from the parking lot and sunsets are absolutely beautiful!

Cafele Zibatá – Good coffee, great service.
5.0

I had an appointment, but did not have my coffee yet. On the way there, I noticed Cafele in the shopping center on the side of the road, so I stopped. I was expecting a simple café, but it was a busy restaurant, packed with people who also happened to have coffee. When I went to place my order, the lady who was helping me noticed that I was American and spoke English with me, even though I was happy to place my order in Spanish. I kept it simple: Small Cafe Americano. I drink it black with 1 raw sugar. Aside from being boiling lava hot, the flavor was nice... mild and nutty with a clean finish. Nothing like the burnt-tasting dirt water you get from Starbucks. When I go back, I would like to get a table and try the food. It looks like a great place to meet friends, have a business meeting, or bring the laptop to get some work done. My first experience was great. Can't wait to go back.

Trecielos Cochinita Pibil Tacos are YUM!
5.0

I follow a lady on YouTube who travels all over Mexico, seeing the sights and eating all of the yummy cuisine around. Her personal favorite dish is cochinita pibil, a Yucatecan dish made with slow-cooked pork, similar to carnitas.  I have never seen it around in the US, but when I saw it on the menu at Trecielos, I had to try it. The location is quite cozy and intimate. It was a quiet night for them, so I was able to get service fast. I ordered 3 tacos and a bourbon, though in hindsight, I should have gotten a beer. When the salsas arrived, I knew it was going to be good... then the tacos landed on the table, and I could not wait to dig in. I'm a fan. The flavors were so distinct and delicious. The salsas were great, too. The thing I like the most about eating in Mexico is that the salsas taste as they should... not watered down for the American palette. I'm excited to try more selections on a future trip.
