El Museo de Arte de Querétaro (MAQRO) ocupa un exconvento agustino barroco del siglo XVII. Está en pleno centro histórico. Su colección permanente reúne pintura novohispana, europea y mexicana de los siglos XVI al XX.

Además, el edificio en sí es una de las joyas arquitectónicas de la ciudad. Cuenta con patios, claustros y una fachada barroca notable. Por ello, es una visita recomendada tanto por el arte como por la arquitectura.

MAQRO occupies a 17th-century Baroque Augustinian ex-convent. The building stands in the heart of the historic center. Its permanent collection brings together New Spanish, European, and Mexican painting from the 16th to 20th centuries.

In addition, the building itself is one of the city’s architectural gems, with courtyards, cloisters, and a notable Baroque facade. For that reason, it’s a recommended visit for both the art and the architecture.
